Morning
Morning breath,
Lazy smile,
Overnight stubble,
Baggy eyes,
Between wakefulness,
Yawn and sprawl,
Half across the bed,
Your morning stretches,
Into mine,
And for that
I stay another second,
Another minute,
Another hour,
And many more mornings,
Wondering,
What could be more,
Beautiful than a morning,
Like this.
When bright air hangs freely,
Around your hair,
Across your face,
Over my heart,
Nothing.
